A love of food and decades of experience in the industry has led us to open our own shop with the intention of serving the food we like - simple, unpretentious, organic, and delicious.
Made by hand + in-house, our naturally leavened dough made with local, organic flour, in our wood fired oven, creates a thin pie with bubbly crust. Please don’t ask us to name our style; we simply make pizza.
All pies are hand stretched to be about 10”.

Hurricane Helene had devastating impacts on millions of lives in our state. For the next few months - at least - we are committed to donating to three organizations dear to our hearts:
World Central Kitchen is first to the frontlines, providing fresh meals in response to humanitarian, climate, and community crises. WCK has been important to us over the years; an organization that we have seen grow from a dream that our former employer, Chef Jose Andres, had to the powerhouse of aid for those in need across the globe today.
Colaborativa La Milpa is a collaborative of grassroots organizations, based in the Emma community of Buncombe County, NC, that has come together to share resources in ways that allow everyone to have greater impact and sustainability. Their focus now is helping the members of the Emma community displaced by the floods.
Bluebird Farm lost 95% of their vegetables to the floods. Not only are Marie and William great people, they grow really great produce. William was one of the first people to make Jim feel welcome when we first moved to NC and he truly misses seeing him every Saturday morning at the Charlotte Regional Farmers Market.

In our opinion (and many others), it’s about time this awkward clash of power, money, judgement, and work has been removed from the industry. If you do insist on leaving a bit of cash, we will know you appreciate what we do and that money will be divided equally among all employees, both kitchen and counter.
